Gym Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Gym Tracker mobile application.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, such as your name, email address, and profile photo. This is provided by Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication.
Workout and profile data
We store the workout and profile information you create in the app, including:
- Workout history (exercises, sets, reps, weights, dates, and notes)
- Profile details you choose to save (such as a bio)
- App preferences stored with your profile
This data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is linked to your account.
Device and app configuration
We use Firebase Remote Config to deliver app settings such as support links, feature availability, and security controls. We do not use Remote Config to collect personal workout content.
Third-party exercise media
The app may load exercise demonstration GIFs from approved third-party content delivery networks (for example, jsDelivr). Loading these assets may involve standard network requests to those providers.
How We Use Information
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Save and sync your workouts and profile
- Show your workout history and progress inside the app
- Operate, maintain, and improve the app
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share information only with service providers (Google Firebase) or when required by law. Your workout data is not made public unless you explicitly choose to share it outside the app.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure. We use authentication and Firestore security rules so users can access only their own data.
Data Retention
We retain your account and workout data while your account is active. Contact us to request deletion.
Your Choices
- Sign out at any time from the Profile screen
- Edit your profile information in the app
- Request account or data deletion by emailing us
- Revoke Google account access from your Google Account security settings
Children's Privacy
Gym Tracker is not intended for children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
